Baulko XI (23/9/11)

I know it's a bit late posting about graduation day but it's finally here. I've been working on it intermittently over the weekend...hope you guys like it~ (Bear with me on this one because it's going to be a long post.)

I've been blog-walking and everyone's been posting up their 'captain farewell speeches' so I decided to make one up as well.

My Life At Baulko


Year 7
I still remember my first day in year 7 very clearly. It was a warm day and at my first assembly I remember sitting down next to Andrew Tsui and asking him what school he came from etc. the general questions. Just a small kid trying to get to know new people and trying to make new friends. When I received the timetable I nearly keeled over and died. HOW THE HELL DO YOU DECIPHER THIS MAGICAL PARCHMENT?!

I ended up in 7G with a bunch of people that I did not know. At this stage I remember being scared and alone but like a lot of others we tried to push past the stranger barrier and made new friends. The first ever period I had, I sat next to Jimmy and Tsui in Mrs Johns science class. I still distinctly remember Kieth as being the shiest kid in year 7.

I spent the first few weeks having lunch with Tom Dunlop, Praween, Small Jonny Wang and Sean Tang before we split into individualised groups. I formed a group with Chris Kew, Kevin Liang, Andrew Tsui and the Lee twins and I remember playing handball quite a bit o''o.

In year 7 I didn't know the difference between Zac Xiong, Ben Wang and Hugh Zhao and I remember calling Ben, Zac and Hugh, Ben or something like that...this was when we ran into each other while walking across the quadrangle...I think they laughed at me and mocked me for being really short. They were mean and angry people back then.=(

Year 8
Not much happened this year that I can really remember except that our grade got an extra camp because of the, now termed, '7O fags'.

Still short.

Year 9
One of the significant events that happened this year was Duke of Edinburgh (DOE), hopefully i spelt that correctly. Just listing a few things I remember from DOE:
-Practice walk
-Train tracks
-Don Kung-fu sleeping in our tent because they snapped their own tent while setting up their own. NOOBS >=(
-Nearly falling into the creek/lake
-Getting lost on the actual walk before we started (Y)
-Getting driven back to the place we were meant to start from...
-Carrying 13kgs of stuff
-Daniel Lamp falling into cow pats so that his whole pants were covered in stinking cow pat.
-The 'toilets'
-Liang bonkers
-The 'Super-happy-fun-slide'
-The end of the walk.

Actually the most memorable moments from year 9 was me joining 'group love'. I can't really accurately express how glad I was to be accepted into the group. The construction site was still taking out the brick wall that ran along the bank of the 'dam' and I learnt that Viv was also a new addition to the group.

Year 10
Camp:


Formal:
Year 10 formal was fun but now looking back on it, it was pretty awkies. I hope year 12 formal's gonna be different.

School:
In a weird way I felt like I was still trying to settle down~

Year 11
The few photos I've put below are just a few of the best day of my life. I actually have a whole album but like...some are awkward and i can't really upload all the photos. No joke. Year 11 was...yeh the best year of my high school life.






Year 12
You know...year 12 would've been the best year if there was no HSC. I'm just gonna concentrate on graduation.

The last few weeks I've been acting real tough, laughing it off when people tell me that I'm going to cry. I'm not so sure anymore =(

Last night I was on the bus home alone after spending some quality time with friends (last vball session) and I guess this is when it 'hit me'. I have a stange habit of listening to sad songs when I'm sad and this sets off a chain reaction or a downward spiral . The slow acoustic songs were played and it went from there.

I was a bit nervous about today. We got wet and yes we did have an amazing time and it's these special or cute moments that I'll miss the most.

OK. i was the forever alone guy in my dream while everyone else got paired up with their respective partners...specific names have been kept anonymous for privacy reasons and to stop nosey parkers.

-Steph went out with Crunchie. They caught frisbees at the park...thrown by who you ask? i have no freaking idea.
-Miho went out with one of her out of school friends...i glimpsed them sitting at starbucks sipping lattes. I'm sure they were lattes... dunno why i know but they were definitely lattes...
-Bee...hmm this was a weird one...Bee was...a bee D=...and i'm pretty sure she didn't have a partner persay but she was collecting nectar using a stack of books (Don't ask me how...i just remember it that way) It was like she opened the book and the honey-like nectar just kinda got sucked into the book and the book got fatter and Bee just stored it in her bag (Y)
-Jen went out with DJ...hehehe :D
-Viv went out with IZ and i think IZ was high jumping over a cliff or something and Viv just laughed randomly throughout the whole scene...

Now the guys...THESE...were freaking weird.
-Ben went out with not a five cent coin, nor a ten cent coin but a ONE DORRAR COIN =O They were doing something somewhere...i forget >.>
-Sam went out with his pony (like one of the 'my-little-pony's') and they rode off into the forest...yes...
-Li was a girl (sorry Li) and ran off with the muscular white dude with a unusually large moustache...and i mean very large...
-Zac went out with CM. These guys met on school grounds if i remember correctly...
-Justin went out...holy crap...i forgot who Justin went out with but I'm pretty sure it was a girl and that they went around the merry-go-round a few times before she smooshed her icecream into his face...which everyone thought was hilarious until Justin turned into a dragon (very much like the Night Fury in 'How to train your dragon'...which was what i was watching before i went to sleep)

I think i woke up before i could see what dragon-Ting would do...

yipes.

so yeh...i was made to clean our kitchen ceiling today.

=/ that may sound strange to all of you who've got new-fangled houses and everything but you people with like one storey...dingy half-ventilated kitchens would know that the steam and stuff kinda drift upwards and turn the ceiling a sickly yellow colour D=...so i'm standing there right in my gear...all macked out in trousers, long sleeves, a mask (like the surgical/cleaner ones that cover the whole face to prevent splashing and whatnot into the eyes) and i'm standing on a ladder. Yep that's ryte...we had to bring our LADDER...not step-ladder...but paternal Mr Ladder into our kitchen to clean up the disgusting ceiling TT^TT...

Twas a very horrible experience. I got like pine-o-clean, AJAX and some aldi-brand detergent AND THE CEILING WOULDN'T WHITEN UP! >=O...then we brought in the bad boys like 'WHITE KING POWER CLEAN' AND MADE THAT BITCH OF A CEILING SPARKLE LIKE THERE WAS NO TOMORROW...ok i'm over it~...i think i inhaled too much of the detergent...it smelled like sweet lemon lollies =D hehehe

Hmm...what else did i do today...OH! one thing...i really don't want any of the photos taken at school on facebook...>.> i look horrible in photos =(

It's like the juiciest part of the film and you're enraptured. Anyways...i was watching this movie (Dragon, Tiger, Gate? Don't remember...) today after taking a shower and was up to this epic kungfu fight seen and yeh i needed to sneeze...so i made this face:

but then as soon as you think you're about to sneeze it kinda just disappears and then i just end up looking like a retard...BUT THEN YOU ACTUALLY SNEEZE like a split second after you think the sneeze is gone D= and remember i was up to the epic kungfu part...I swear to god my eyes were gonna pop out of my sockets.

Nature is so cruel.
