I've been blog-walking and everyone's been posting up their 'captain farewell speeches' so I decided to make one up as well.
My Life At Baulko
Year 7
I still remember my first day in year 7 very clearly. It was a warm day and at my first assembly I remember sitting down next to Andrew Tsui and asking him what school he came from etc. the general questions. Just a small kid trying to get to know new people and trying to make new friends. When I received the timetable I nearly keeled over and died. HOW THE HELL DO YOU DECIPHER THIS MAGICAL PARCHMENT?!
I ended up in 7G with a bunch of people that I did not know. At this stage I remember being scared and alone but like a lot of others we tried to push past the stranger barrier and made new friends. The first ever period I had, I sat next to Jimmy and Tsui in Mrs Johns science class. I still distinctly remember Kieth as being the shiest kid in year 7.
I spent the first few weeks having lunch with Tom Dunlop, Praween, Small Jonny Wang and Sean Tang before we split into individualised groups. I formed a group with Chris Kew, Kevin Liang, Andrew Tsui and the Lee twins and I remember playing handball quite a bit o''o.
In year 7 I didn't know the difference between Zac Xiong, Ben Wang and Hugh Zhao and I remember calling Ben, Zac and Hugh, Ben or something like that...this was when we ran into each other while walking across the quadrangle...I think they laughed at me and mocked me for being really short. They were mean and angry people back then.=(
Year 8
Not much happened this year that I can really remember except that our grade got an extra camp because of the, now termed, '7O fags'.
Still short.
Year 9
One of the significant events that happened this year was Duke of Edinburgh (DOE), hopefully i spelt that correctly. Just listing a few things I remember from DOE:
-Practice walk
-Train tracks
-Don Kung-fu sleeping in our tent because they snapped their own tent while setting up their own. NOOBS >=(
-Nearly falling into the creek/lake
-Getting lost on the actual walk before we started (Y)
-Getting driven back to the place we were meant to start from...
-Carrying 13kgs of stuff
-Daniel Lamp falling into cow pats so that his whole pants were covered in stinking cow pat.
-The 'toilets'
-Liang bonkers
-The 'Super-happy-fun-slide'
-The end of the walk.
Actually the most memorable moments from year 9 was me joining 'group love'. I can't really accurately express how glad I was to be accepted into the group. The construction site was still taking out the brick wall that ran along the bank of the 'dam' and I learnt that Viv was also a new addition to the group.
Year 10
Camp:
Formal:
Year 10 formal was fun but now looking back on it, it was pretty awkies. I hope year 12 formal's gonna be different.
School:
In a weird way I felt like I was still trying to settle down~
Year 11
The few photos I've put below are just a few of the best day of my life. I actually have a whole album but like...some are awkward and i can't really upload all the photos. No joke. Year 11 was...yeh the best year of my high school life.
Year 12
You know...year 12 would've been the best year if there was no HSC. I'm just gonna concentrate on graduation.
Ok. I admit it. I teared up during graduation but I did not cry *adamant face*. I'm a man. If you guys have read Jono Chan's blog you might have seen his post 'Officeworks. Fireworks. Waterworks.'

Baulko '11. You've been my friends and mentors. Note I'm not saying goodbye because we must get together again in the future. To my special group/s we need to have monthly get togethers, even if it is just a lunch or coffee.
I'm tearing up~
