Heyyyy so I haven't posted in a while about what I've been up to in my life...because nothing really interesting has been going on...UNTIL TODAY...(ACTUALLY YESTERDAY SINCE I POSTED THIS LATE)!
I HUNG OUT WITH THE ZACHARY TODAY! IS YOUR MIND A-BLOWN? YES THE INFAMOUS ZACHARY HAS GRACED ME WITH HIS PRESENCE.
We went to a bar tending/cocktail course in the city and...well...learnt how to maintain a bar etc. We can now make wonderful cocktails with you all, complete with very cool lemon garnish ribbons =) We learnt the proper terminology for a lot of the bar equipment especially the different types of glasses including, minis, hiballs, schooners, shot glasses and measuring equipment like the font and the jigger. We learnt what a few specific drinks were colloquially called along with bar jargon eg. neat (no ice, not cold), dry (add ginger ale) etc...There was tasting going on and I think we got waaaaaaayyyy too excited. (ZAC. I STILL DON'T THINK I WAS THE YOUNGEST PERSON IN THAT CLASS; JUST COZ YOU DIDN'T ASK THE GIRLS HOW OLD THEY WERE :P) hahahahahaha There was a short lunch in between the sessions where we went to the pub/bar next door and Zac ate the worst steak in the world (gristle and everything...'because he was hungry') MUST WORK IT OFF ZAC =P
Afterwards...because Zac is Zac, we went to Caps to spending the monies. He managed to claw one of the Pink Moomins (I still don't get why they're trolls...they look more like hippo/horses). I don't like to encourage addictive behaviour but he's pretty good at this skill-tester/claw machine stuff xD At Caps we (Zac and I) ran intoooo (lemme see if I can remember) Catherine, Elena, Wingki, Edward, Brian and Kerry who were just on a walkabout day in the city. We also met up with Mihooo =D...Viv was doing something more important XD (eg. catching up on beauty sleep) so she didn't join us.
We parted ways from the random group and Miho, Zac and I went walking along Oxford St...a very interesting experience (even during the day) since today/week they have this gay rights protest with men's dressed in womens clothing etc...and here we are...Zac walking down Oxford St alongside me holding his newly won pink Moomin >.> ON A COMPLETELY UNRELATED NOTE; does anyone wanna go Ogalo's any time soon?...so I may taste the 'portuguese chicken of gods'...K Thnx =)
O riiight. For dinner...we took Viv's suggestion and found the Board Games Cafe on 20 Liverpool St AND it was the bestest. It's such a great place to chillax. We must all go! There's even mahjong! It plays a korean soundtrack though xD
